Just installed Mac OS X Leopard (beta build from ADC) on to a spare MacbookPro. Obviously, one wants to know everything that’s packed in there, but a big reason for taking this on is that we’ll have to figure out how to properly migrate users from TIGER to Leopard.
The TIGER OS in our environment is integrated into our Unix and Active Directory Environment. We use Portable Home Directories, SMB/CIFS, Group Policies, NFS and LDAP. Obviously, we’ll have to figure out the best configuration for our user base who will want to upgrade to Leopard, once its out.
I have a feeling that I will posting a bit about Leopard in the coming days. However, since it is still in beta stages, I can’t go too much into details.
