UPDATE: Since I moved my blog to a hosted wordpress install, I have not had the time to re-implement the Comment Preview. That makes this post rather outdated :)
I have used Matt‘s [tag]javascript[/tag] toolbox to provide some very slick commenting helper functions. When you open up a post and go to comment, you will be pleased to see that there are a few most often used [tag]HTML[/tag] buttons to apply to your comments. In addition, there are two preview options.
- Preview: This will simply provide you a comment preview of your comment in an area labeled, well, comment preview. You can occasionaly click this to make sure your comments are looking just the way you want them to :)
- Live Preview: I like this more. Below the comment text area, there is a checkbox labeled Live Preview. Checking that will activate the live preview code, providing you instant preview of what you are typing as you are typing…
