I like blogsome in that respect. Their standard operating procedures allow you to request a SQL dump if you are migrating away. I requested it and was able to import it into my own wordpress install.

The import itself is not a simple point and click. The blogsome is based on a version of wordpress-mu. I will post a small write up on how I did the migration.

I have just started my blog at Blogsome and are quite satisfied with their service. However, the thing that worries me is that they do not provide any export/migration tool (other than standard rss of course) - so when I want to have my own wordpress installation some time in the future, I have a migration problem. Or do I?
