Hi Andy

Thx a lot for this and the other comments you have made. It is very good to hear that active development is being undertaken to mature the protocol and the feature sets. Most often with growing technologies, it is the management of the technology and the ease of use that defines its feasibility.

It is also good to hear i-name transfers are possible. To be fair to the i-brokers, I have not contacted them with this question. However, the websites did not indicate whether this was possible or not either :)

You stirred up quite a mess with this post and as Drummond said, it's a good job. So let me reiterate what Drummond said... We can very easily do transfers. You know how to contact me directly so if you want help with a transfer, just let me know and I'll make it happen... And this doesn't just go for you; anyone's ability to transfer i-names is at the core of the i-name value proposition, if anyone needs help with a transfer (you are not getting responsive service from your i-broker)contact me and I'll help you; my i-name is =andy.

Rajeev, thanks for bringing up good quality-control issues about i-names. The infrastructure is steadily gaining features, and several new i-brokers are in the process of gaining accreditation. The ability to transfer i-names across i-brokers is also now supported by the XDI.org GRS (Global Registry Service), and it is required for XDI.org-Accredited I-Brokers to support this, so XDI.org is working with all the i-brokers to see that this is implemented.

We'll continue to try to make your i-names more and more useful.
