“Born in Detroit, 1940″…no no. Whatever little information I can find about “Sugar Chile Robinson” on the Internet all start with that line. Google up “Sugar Chile Robinson” and you’ll know. Or follow these links

Lot of people know him for his “Go Boy Go!” song that was featured in the Dockers commercial. That and the fact that he was a whiz kid playing piano at 2 or 3 years of age…
But where is he now ??

GREAT NEWS! Frank ‘Sugar Chile’ Robinson will be performing at the Rhythm Riot Festival on the November 23rd weekend. He said he will do a few festival gigs but he has been in the church for all these years and is not interested in his past life as a child prodogy. Stay tuned. Hopefully, he will be at the 2008 Chicago Blues Festival, as I hope to be booking him there.
That’s great news indeed! Surely I can’t make it to the “riot” but I would love to hear a recording of the performance. Any ideas/news if something like that is gonna be available ?
