I am tingled. I was searching for ways to implement Elliot’s Better-than-live search . Based on this blogsome-forum post by the admins, it appears that blogsome does not have a separate page for search results. Which means we are stuck with long smarty index.html template.
Upon showing the link to Matt, he got excited too and pledges some JS to work around our single template design.
I should try to broker a deal with Matt: I’ll contribue the cut-n-paste of the ajax code (already have it going in my test site) and you do the JS function… (err, the hard part!)
IMHO, blogsome will be best served if they (blogsome admins) revive the search template.

Almost got it working: visit any page on my blog to see. It only returns the last 10 posts, instead of fitting the search criteria.
The script is at this place.
Fixed: I was using an &, where I needed an &.
sweeeet !
stick an indicator, put up some effects, some CSS and off we go!
Hello! It was so great to see there are some blogsome bloggers who convert and use this hemingway theme.
I was trying to use your template, and found out the ajax search could not handle searches that return more than 10 results. The [Older>>] button is there, but upon clicking on it, it doesn’t work.
Is that what you are experiencing too? Any solutions to that?
Hmmm… Chances are the bad code is in the javascript. In the mean time, what search term did you use ?
