Testing XMLRPC Fix

Update 1:

  • Just like before, the quotes look fine in Draft view but on publish, all the quotes get escaped. This update is being posted using Web.
  • Examine the links – and how they are broken due to the sql-injected escapes.
  • I fixed the technorati tag links manually using the web interface
  • Original Post

If this works -  all of my blogsome save points (if there are any), go to The Uvular R,
    who got the fix.

    Here is a SINGLE quote – ‘
    Here is a DOUBLE quote – "
    Here is a URL – http://rajeev.name
    Here is a link – http://rajeev.name

Testing notes so far for The Uvular R

    First – I used flock  -

    a) Made the above post. Flock also lets me select categories. I used http://rajeev.name/xmlrpc.php as my XMLRPC url. What I noticed is that when I attempted to post it, flock said that I was not able to contact the blog – but it posted anyway – when I checked with the browser. Not sure if flock did not understand the return code or if blogsome.com sent any to it in the first place.

Also, it did not get posted to the right category. I had to "save" it using the Web interface for the category to stick.

    b) I then accessed the post using performancing for Firefox. When I accessed this post, the post had almost 2-3 line spacing between lines. I had to delete all of that. It should be in the category "matters of interest". Let’s see..
