Plazes wants to be known as the next generation social software and as being able to augment and enhance real-world communication rather than simulating it via geotagging and making friends.
Using your internet connection and a 1.5 MB software loaded on your laptop, you tag your location with as little or as much information you want to provide. Once tagged, you can find out info about other plazers and make friends. You can even tag your plaze with a flickr picture, a geotag, an annotated note etc.
