The chatter continues over who will buy Technorati. Popular opinion is that Technorati improved its service and may be looking for better price. (/me shakes – look here).

Granted that Yahoo! bought the 2 out of the 3 entities that make up most of the bits otherwise known as Web 2.0. I think that Google will be interested in Technorati – for other reasons. Yahoo! buys Technorati and gains lead (and a lot of weight). Its easier then for Google to slurp up Yahoo! than for it to buy Microsoft if Mr. Gates bought Technorati. Tags, Search Histories and all in your face. And the ads.
